Organisation & Sponsors

The Provincial authority, nineteen town councils, companies and organisations in the Maastricht Region have joined forces to ensure a sustainable and promising future for the Maastricht Region.

Two institutions were founded for that purpose:
  1. The Maastricht Region Urban Network, a joint development platform and lobby;
  2. The Maastricht Region Branding Foundation, set up to promote and enhance the image of the region.

A partnership in Maastricht Region Branding is obtained by yearly contributing a minimum of EUR 50,000. In return the partner becomes a member of the Board of Management and participates in defining the marketing strategy. At policy meetings of the Board of Contributors a partner's vote counts for two. The Board of Management selects members for the Executive Committee.

Rules for using the logo


Who may use the logo?


The logo, both the static version and the animation, may be used by any of the Maastricht Region Branding Foundation’s contributors. In addition, businesses, institutions and other organisations may request to use the logo, even if they do not contribute at this time. For each request the Foundation will consider whether the logo will strengthen – or at least not harm - the image of the Maastricht Region. The Foundation’s Management Board may request organisations to stop using the logo at any time. The copyright is owned by the Foundation. The signature image may only be used by the Foundation in the ‘Everything Points to Maastricht Region’ campaign series.

Costs of using the logo


For donors who yearly contribute at least EUR 5000, the logo may be used free of charge. Other organisations are required to pay EUR 25 per employee per year, with a minimum charge of EUR 250.

How to use the logo


The logo may only be used in its entirety; it is prohibited to use separate elements or to add anything to the logo. The logo may be used as part of the contributor’s house style. The colour and the image/text ratio are fixed; the positioning and dimensioning are discretionary, provided that the word Zuidlimburg.nl (Maastrichtregion.com) is legible.

Language


The Zuidlimburg.nl logo should be used in all Dutch-language publicity (including materials used in Belgium). In publicity in all other languages the Maastrichtregion.com logo should be used.
