All new residents should register at the local town council. The nationwide rules define how a new resident should register at the municipality.

Please note: if your nationality is other than European you will first have to arrange an appointment with the Immigration and Naturalisation Office (IND) in Rijswijk (near The Hague). Check their website for instructions and information: www.ind.nl. For all other formalities please contact the office of the local town council.
