Exhibition of Berlin-based Limburg Artists

"The exhibition Mythe Berlijn. Limburgse kunstenaars in Berlijn is organized by Museum Het Domein Sittard in collaboration with monthly cultural magazine Zuiderlucht. Zuiderlucht talked with  the artists, who all have their origins in Limburg or close ties with  the region, about art, the city and their work in relation to Berlin  Museum Het Domein invited these artist to exhibit their Berlin art in Limburg. Starting on August 26th work from Hadassah Emmerich, William Engelen, Anneke Eussen, Alien Oosting, Wiebke Pöpel, Donya Saed and Sebastiaan Schlicher will be on display at AINSI. Did Berlin make their artists’ dreams come true or did Berlin turn out to be a myth? The pictures that photographer Chris Keulen took of the artists and Berlin will be part of the exhibition Mythe Berlijn. The exhibition will be accompanied by an artist talk, film and lectures.
