In Sittard-Geleen, the hospital of the future (Orbis) and the Hoogstaete sheltered accommodation complex have been developed. This extremely innovative development offers great opportunities for social and economic spin-off for the region.
In addition, this development is perfectly in line with the innovation cluster along the Sittard-Geleen/Maastricht axis, DSM and the hospitals in the region. Orbis is hoping to develop into a European innovation platform and to provide a boost to innovative product and service development in Europe.
