Wednesday 18 November

Are you a cross-border commuter in the Netherlands or Germany and do you have questions about child benefit or parental allowance? The cross-border information points are organising a digital information day where you can speak directly to the relevant authorities.

Do you work as a cross-border commuter in Germany or the Netherlands and do you have questions about German and Dutch child benefit or parental allowance?

The border information points along the German-Dutch border are organising an information day on this topic. During this digital information session, you can speak directly to staff from the relevant organisations.

Book an appointment now for a personal consultation and we’ll answer your questions about:

Child Benefit
Child-related budget
Child benefit
Parental leave
Elternzeit
Parental allowance
Child benefit supplement
The information day on family benefits will take place between 9.45 am and 4.30 pm. Individual consultations will last up to 45 minutes.

Experts from the Familienkasse Rheinland-Pfalz-Saarland Elterngeldstellen (at the border), an office in North Rhine-Westphalia responsible for the child benefit supplement, the Social Insurance Bank (Office for German Affairs) and the GrenzInfoPunkte will be on hand to answer your personal enquiries.

This consultation day is organised by GrenzInfoPunkt Rhein-Waal. You can register by calling ☎ +49 (0)2821 793079 or emailing gip@euregio.org

To take part, you must share details of your situation in advance (where do you live? Do both parents work, and if so, in which country or countries?) with the participating advisers, so that they can prepare for the appointment. Please describe your situation as accurately as possible so that we can prepare properly for the appointment.

By registering and taking part, you agree that the above information may be passed on to advisers at the participating organisations.

The deadline for registration is 9 September 2026. Places are limited.
